Charlie & Co. is committed to digital accessibility — not just for our clients, but for this website. Accessibility is the foundation of how we work, so it would be strange to hold ourselves to a lower standard than we hold our projects.
Our conformance target
This website is designed and built to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, and aims for WCAG 2.1 AA wherever practical. We treat AA as the minimum, not the goal.
Measures we take
- Semantic structure — proper landmarks, headings, and labels so assistive technology can navigate the site.
- Keyboard operability — every interactive element works without a mouse, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Colour contrast — every text and interface colour is checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, across all theme options.
- Reduced motion — animation respects the visitor's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and backs off accordingly. - Screen-reader testing — content is tested with assistive technology, not just automated tools.
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
Known limitations
We aim for full conformance, but no website is ever perfectly accessible for everyone. If you encounter a barrier here, we want to know — it helps us improve, and we mean that.
Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing this site, or have a suggestion, please get in touch through our contact form. We aim to respond within two business days and to resolve genuine barriers promptly.
AODA & your obligations
If you operate in Ontario, the AODA likely requires your own website to meet WCAG 2.0 AA. Helping organizations get there — through audits and remediation — is one of the things we do. See Accessibility Audits & AODA Compliance.
