A lot of our clients appreciate having a simple way to update their own websites. It allows them to make changes when they want from wherever they want without having to wait to contact us or for the next business day if they want important changes done late at night.

There are a lot of options available for users of different experience levels. We have built Content Management systems and newspaper article systems out of WordPress, IronPoint (Active CMS), Joomla, Mambo, Drupal, Movable Type and pMachine / Express Engine. Each of these systems have different options that are useful to different websites. For a simple website with general pagetypes, we generally recommend WordPress. It contains a lot of excellent features and has a massive user base that constantly submit new plugins for extended functionality.

pMachine and Movable type have their own advantages, however they are starting to become antiquated and out dated.

Joomla is basically Mambo and Mambo is pretty much Joomla.  The programmers who initially created Mambo broke off from the group and created Joomla as an open source alternative. Joomla has a much more complicated and robust backend interface than WordPress, but it can also be extended in a lot more ways than wordpress by its various plug-ins.
